Job summary

Absa Group seeks a FAIS-licensed financial adviser to deliver tailored investment and insurance advice to clients in South Africa. You will conduct comprehensive needs analyses, present trusted recommendations, and manage ongoing client relationships within Absa's advisory framework.

You will adhere to all FAIS standards, maintain fit and proper status, and collaborate with internal teams to grow client portfolios and meet annual targets.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years financial planning/advice in long-term insurance and investments.
• NQF 5 FAIS credits (120 FAIS) required.
• RE 5 certification required.
• Fit and proper for FAIS licensed advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional client relationships across stakeholders.
• Conduct Financial Needs Analyses using Avalon tool from Aug 2024 onwards.
• Prepare and present recommendations and quotes for risk and investments.
• Ensure FAIS regulations and licensing are followed in advice given.
• Complete client documentation and compliance requirements.
• Review client portfolios annually and update as needed.
