Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking an Officer Environmental on a fixed term contract to coordinate environmental activities within the project group. The role is based in Mpumalanga and focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental specifications and EMS requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma or higher in Environmental Management, plus at least 3 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or B degree in Environmental Management or Natural Science.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of Environmental Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Compliance assessment and management.
• Evaluation of contractor’s management plans, method statements and work instructions.
• Engage with and manage contractors.
• Assist in compiling weekly and monthly environmental reports.
• SHEQ adherence.
