Qualifications

• 5–7 years experience in media relations, communications or PR, preferably in non-profit sectors.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective communication strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in social media management, content creation and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive media and communications strategies.
• Manage all media relations activities, including pitching stories and building media contacts.
• Create engaging content for press releases, website, social media, newsletters and annual reports.
• Oversee social media presence, ensuring consistent brand voice and community engagement.
• Develop internal communication plans for staff and volunteers.
