Placements24 in Kimberley seeks a Senior Research Assistant to join our immunology research group. You will perform complex laboratory experiments, analyze data, and support development of novel immunotherapies under the guidance of Principal Investigators.

The ideal candidate has hands-on immunology experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a well-equipped facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in an immunology research laboratory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in immunology or related life science.
• Proficiency with flow cytometry, cell-based and immunological assays.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform immunological assays including ELISAs, flow cytometry, cell culture and Western blots.
• Design and execute experiments under supervision of senior researchers.
• Prepare reagents, solutions and maintain lab equipment.
• Record and analyze data with meticulous documentation.
• Manage laboratory inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Contribute to data interpretation and troubleshoot experiments.
