Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Immunology for Randburg, Gauteng. This field-based role focuses on building relationships with KOLs and HCPs, serving as a scientific resource, and communicating data from clinical programs.

You will contribute to medical education, support clinical research initiatives, and ensure scientific exchange aligns with strategic medical affairs. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Immunology, Biology, Pharmacy or related field.
• 5+ years in medical affairs or related role with immunology focus.
• Proven ability to engage KOLs and HCPs credibly.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with KOLs and HCPs in the territory.
• Act as scientific/clinical resource for immunology products and pipeline.
• Present complex data on disease states and therapies to audiences.
• Gather field insights on treatment landscapes and unmet needs.
• Support medical education programs and scientific exchange activities.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, research and development to align field work.
• Identify investigators for clinical trials and provide scientific support.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests compliantly.
• Attend conferences to represent the company and gather information.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and company policies.
