The Department of Infrastructure Development, Head Office in Johannesburg, invites applications for a senior managerial role in immovable assets management. You will oversee the strategy and register, guide GIAMA planning, and coordinate GIS data for planning and decision-making.

Competenze

• Undergraduate qualification at NQF level 7 in Real Estate/Property Management/ Property Development/Immovable Asset Management as recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience at senior managerial level in the real estate environment.
• A valid driver’s license and Pre-Entry SMS Certificate (Nyukela).
• Knowledge of PFMA/ Treasury Regulations and related acts; governance and asset management policies.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Immovable Asset Strategy and Register and related asset management systems.
• Guide user departments on GIAMA planning requirements and consolidate long-term asset needs.
• Oversee GIS services and spatial data for planning and decision-making; ensure asset-record accuracy.
• Develop lifecycle portfolio strategies and investment proposals aligned with MTREF and service-delivery goals.
