Placements24 is seeking a talented Sound Designer and Audio Engineer to contribute to its latest arts and entertainment projects. You will design sound effects, ambient soundscapes, and handle mixing and mastering to deliver immersive audio experiences in a studio setting.

The ideal candidate has proven experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency with DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or Cubase.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sound design or audio engineering for entertainment projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse sound design and audio engineering work.
Proficiency with DAWs and audio plugins/effects.
Excellent understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and hardware.

Responsibilities

Design, record, and implement sound effects, foley, and ambient soundscapes to enhance the user experience.
Mix and master audio elements to ensure clarity, balance, and adherence to project specifications.
Collaborate with game developers, filmmakers, and other creatives to define and achieve the desired audio aesthetic.
Operate and maintain audio recording equipment and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related technical issues during production and post-production.
Stay current with advancements in audio technology and sound design techniques relevant to the entertainment industry.
