Job summary

COFCO International in SA seeks a Reporting Controller to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis for SSA entities. You will maintain strong controls, manage tax computations, and drive process improvements within a multinational agri-business context.

The role requires a CA(SA) with at least 2 years post articles, strong IFRS knowledge, and hands-on experience with SAP tools. A market-related package and provident fund benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA (SA) with at least 2 years’ post article experience.
• Demonstrated IFRS reporting and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience in direct and indirect tax disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Month end reporting and consolidation with group deadlines.
• Reconcile back-end systems and consolidate figures accurately.
• Prepare MBOR presentation for balance sheet figures.
• Manage SSA corporate income tax and deferred tax calculations.
• Coordinate transfer pricing with Tax Consultant.
• Prepare IFRS-based Annual Financial Statements and support external audit.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity reconciliations and improve processes.
• Assist with daily payment approvals and back-up to controllers.
