Job summary

COFCO International seeks a Reporting Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, consolidation, compliance and analysis for SSA entities. The role emphasizes IFRS reporting, MBOR preparation, tax, and budgeting within a multinational context.

The incumbent will lead month-end processes, coordinate with Tax and external auditors, and uphold internal controls while driving system enhancements. A CA(SA) with 2+ years post-articles is preferred, based in Stellenbosch, SA.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with at least 2 years post articles experience.
• Experience in IFRS reporting and technical accounting.
• Strong financial analysis and tax discipline knowledge.
• Proficiency with SAP S4 Hana, SAP BPC and Caseware.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation and MBOR preparation with timely, accurate reporting.
• Tax calculation and transfer pricing coordination for SSA entities.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis against Group budgets.
• Preparation of IFRS-compliant AFS and support for external audit.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring of internal controls.
