Job summary

Momentum in Cape Town is looking for a Business Development Consultant to build enduring partnerships with independent financial advisers, spanning the Myriad, Investo, and Health & Investments product lines. You will meet IFAs, assess their needs, and present Momentum’s offerings with professionalism to strengthen business relationships.

The role emphasizes market insight, regulatory awareness, and continuous improvement of service levels to support advisers and their clients.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years financial services industry experience.
• 1–3 years relevant sales experience.
• Experience with Momentum Myriad and Investo products is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial services industry, insurance products and regulatory requirements is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Engage with IFAs to understand their needs and articulate Momentum's value proposition across Myriad, Investo, Health & Investments.
• Visit IFAs and offices per plan; deliver marketing messages on our product range.
• Analyse and monitor weekly activities to exceed sales targets.
• Record meeting minutes and respond promptly to requests.
