Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an IAM Analyst for AI training to analyze realistic IAM and access control scenarios, identify weaknesses, and provide expert feedback to improve AI reasoning on security topics.

You will work remotely on flexible, independent hours (10–40 hours per week) with no required AI background, leveraging your practical IAM experience to shape how AI systems reason about identity risk, RBAC, and zero-trust design.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platform experience.
• Solid understanding of RBAC and least-privilege principles.
• Familiarity with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them.
• Ability to evaluate access scenarios from defender and attacker perspectives.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses and misconfigurations
• Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related failures
• Evaluate zero-trust models and access design decisions for correctness and risk

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
• Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
• Familiar with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them
• Able to think like both a defender and an attacker when evaluating access scenarios
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
• No prior AI experience required — your security expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience with platforms like Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or PAM solutions
• Background in cloud security, penetration testing, or security architecture
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001
