Job summary

Joint Medical Holdings (JMH) Durban MICU seeks an Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy ICU environment. You will be responsible for assessment, care planning, and executing nursing duties under supervision, maintaining documentation and contributing to patient outcomes.

Qualified candidates must be registered with SANC as Enrolled Nurse with APC, with 2+ years’ ICU experience preferred. Shift work and additional hours may apply; MS Word/Excel literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with SANC as Enrolled Nurse with valid APC.
• Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an ICU environment.
• Must be prepared to work additional hours and shift work (Night/Day).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation reflecting patient care.
• Control stock and manage supplies.
• Implement governance, quality and risk management.
• Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment free from hazards.
• Supervise ENAs and contribute to holistic patient care.
• Participate in ward/unit quality improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to infection prevention, Health & Safety policies, and report risks.
