Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Hygiene and Sanitation Team Leader to guide a remote team and uphold top hygiene standards across operations. The role emphasizes self-management, digital collaboration, and stringent health & safety compliance.

You will develop and implement hygiene policies, conduct virtual audits, train staff, and report on performance and improvements while driving a culture of cleanliness in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hygiene, sanitation, or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
• Experience developing and implementing hygiene protocols.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety procedures.
• Excellent leadership and remote communication skills.
• Ability to manage a team effectively from a distance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a remote team of hygiene and sanitation specialists, providing clear direction and support.
• Develop, implement, and monitor adherence to hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Conduct virtual inspections and audits to ensure designated areas meet cleanliness standards.
