Job summary

GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Commercial Farm role candidate for Stellenbosch. The position requires 2–3 years in a Commercial farming role and relevant agriculture qualification.

Proficiency in English and Afrikaans is essential, with strong knowledge of hydroponic production, irrigation, fertigation, and pest management. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, be able to plan production, coordinate harvests, and maintain accurate production reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in a Commercial Farming Role.
• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture | Horticulture | Plant Production | Agronomy or related field required
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans essential
• Strong knowledge of Commercial hydroponic production | Irrigation & fertigation | Plant health | Pest & disease management | GlobalG.A.P. & food safety | Production planning | Harvest coordination | Team leadership | Production reporting | Equipment & input management will be beneficial

Minimum Requirements:

Salary Structure:

• Basic Salary of between R 35 000 and R 40 000 negotiable based on experience
