Placements24 is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager to optimize logistics and supply chain operations in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The role balances operational oversight with strategic planning in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in SCM, logistics, business administration, or related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in supply chain and project management.
Proven track record of delivering supply chain improvement projects.
Strong understanding of logistics, inventory, procurement, and global trade.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of supply chain projects, including process improvements, technology implementations, and network optimization.
Develop project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and sales, to achieve project goals.
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring operational continuity and resilience.
Monitor project performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports on progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
