Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team in Klerksdorp. You will coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams to optimize inventory levels, manage lead times and resolve bottlenecks in a hybrid work setting.

Key duties include order processing, tracking shipments, reporting KPIs and collaborating with sales and production to ensure supply meets demand.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in a related logistics or procurement role.
• Solid understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain best practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supply chain operations, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Track shipments and proactively address any delays or disruptions.
• Maintain accurate supply chain data and generate regular KPI reports.
• Collaborate with sales and production to ensure supply meets demand.
• Assist in evaluating and selecting logistics providers and supply chain partners.
