Job summary

Parvana in Cape Town, South Africa, is seeking a Software Developer to design and maintain backend and full-stack features using a Supabase and TypeScript stack. The role supports both greenfield and legacy systems, with hybrid work arrangements and collaboration across Africa and Europe.

You will be responsible for end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and applying Claude Code to accelerate delivery and ensure code quality.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of development experience with TypeScript and SQL.
• Proven CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication across SA and Europe.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain backend and full-stack features with Supabase and TypeScript.
• Develop greenfield and brownfield solutions and expand production code.
• Manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Apply Claude Code to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.
• Collaborate with EU stakeholders and engineers.
