Job summary

ZealHR is seeking an experienced Software Developer with a passion for teaching to deliver a QCTO-accredited Occupational Certificate: Software Developer (NQF Level 5) in a hybrid arrangement based in Stellenbosch.

You will combine practical coding with curriculum development, student mentoring and assessment design, while ensuring compliance, quality assurance and alignment with industry needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Practical industry experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and application development.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver live lectures covering software development theory and practice.
• Facilitate hybrid learning with virtual and in-person sessions.
• Develop course materials aligned with programme outcomes and current industry practices.
• Design assessments and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
• Contribute to programme curriculum review and compliance.
