Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Sanitation & Hygiene Coordinator to join their Upington team. You will develop and monitor sanitation programs, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborate with multiple departments to promote best practices for a clean, safe working environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a solid understanding of sanitation principles and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sanitation, hygiene, or facilities management.
• Solid knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation chemicals, and equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement daily sanitation and hygiene programs across all facilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential health and safety risks.
• Develop and deliver training materials on sanitation and hygiene best practices to staff.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and incident reports.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized cleaning services and supplies.
• Stay updated on the latest regulations and advancements in sanitation and hygiene practices.
