Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in oil and gas production operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with production equipment including separators, pumps, compressors, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production operators and technicians.
• Ensure safe and environmentally responsible production activities in line with policies and regulations.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and minimize downtime to optimize output.
• Manage efficient use of resources including materials, equipment and personnel.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with HSE procedures.
• Train and mentor new team members to foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and other departments to resolve challenges and implement improvements.
• Participate in planning and execution of production targets.
