Placements24 in Benoni is seeking a Junior Procurement Officer to join a team operating under a hybrid work model. The role involves supporting sourcing, processing purchase orders, and ensuring policy compliance to enable Gauteng operations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Business, a basic understanding of procurement, and strong MS Office skills, with eagerness to learn and develop in procurement.

Qualifications

• Some experience or strong interest in purchasing or procurement.
• Basic understanding of procurement principles and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers for goods and services.
• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders accurately.
