Job summary

The role requires a chemical engineering degree and 3–5 years in process development or R&D, with proficiency in Aspen Plus or HYSYS and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years in process development, R&D, or new technology implementation.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with pilot plant operations and scale-up principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate new chemical process technologies.
• Design and execute pilot-scale experiments.
• Optimize process parameters for yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs for new technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams for technology transfer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during process development and scale-up.
• Conduct techno-economic assessments for new process proposals.
• Ensure all process designs comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on process development findings.
