Qualifications

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Geomatics or related field.
• Experience with precision agriculture systems and software (e.g., John Deere Operations Center, Trimble Ag Software).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities for client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage precision farming technologies, including variable rate application, GPS guidance, and yield monitoring systems.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from drones, sensors, and farm machinery to inform management decisions.
• Develop site-specific management zones and prescription maps for fertilization, seeding, and crop protection.
• Train farm staff on operation and maintenance of precision ag equipment and software.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and sustainability.
• Monitor weather patterns and soil conditions to provide timely recommendations.
