Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations in Klerksdorp. You will optimize and troubleshoot manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance, working with production, quality, and engineering teams.

The role is hybrid, with on-site focus and remote collaboration on documentation and analysis. Requires a Bachelor's in Chemical or Pharmaceutical Engineering and at least four years' pharma process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical process development or manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of cGMP, process validation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with process simulation and modeling software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes to improve yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Design and implement process validation protocols and execute validation studies.
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Conduct process hazard analyses and implement safety measures.
• Prepare process documentation, including batch records, SOPs, and process descriptions.
