Placements24 is seeking an Operations Director to lead our client’s manufacturing operations in Pretoria. The role oversees production, quality, supply chain, and facilities, driving operational excellence and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a master's degree and 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, with Lean/Six Sigma expertise and strong financial acumen. Hybrid schedule with on-site leadership in Pretoria and strategic remote planning.

Formación

• Master's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing operations, automotive preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale facilities and complex supply chains.
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L and budgeting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for production, quality, supply chain, logistics, and facilities management.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, P&L, and capital expenditure planning for operations.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean/Six Sigma and best practices.
• Lead and mentor senior managers and department heads.
• Optimize supply chain and inventory management to reduce costs.
• Build relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Champion adoption of new technologies in manufacturing.
