MECS Africa is seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Leader to drive end-to-end readiness for a major mining project. You will lead governance, scheduling, and assurance activities, coordinating POR/BOR alignment and ensuring a smooth handover into operations.

The role requires 15+ years of mining/industrial project experience, strong governance and executive reporting skills, and a proven track record in commissioning and ramp-up initiatives.

Formación

• Leading Operational Readiness programmes across large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to integrate OR across POR, BOR and business ownership.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and executive reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the full OR programme from execution through handover and ramp-up.
• Establish integrated OR governance, reporting systems, readiness reviews and assurance.
• Drive alignment between POR and BOR and ensure handover readiness.
• Coordinate ORSC engagements and executive reporting.
• Integrate OR activities into commissioning phases and handover strategy.
• Drive readiness across all operational workstreams (ops, maintenance, HSE, supply chain, HR, systems, finance).
