Placements24 is seeking a skilled Logistics Planner in Paarl, Western Cape. This hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on coordination of transportation and warehousing to ensure timely deliveries for the Paarl area.

You will analyze logistics data, identify cost savings opportunities, and collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service to meet delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistics Planner or similar in transportation or supply chain.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, transport modes and route planning.
• Proficiency in logistics planning software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed logistics plans for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse staff for timely deliveries.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays or disruptions.
• Analyze transportation costs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare performance reports.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service to align on logistics needs.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
