Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Business Development Representative to join the sales team in Port Elizabeth. You will identify potential clients, qualify leads, and help set up product demonstrations alongside the senior sales team.

This hybrid role offers in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, with extensive training and performance-based bonuses as you build skills in communication and relationship-building within the South Africa market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• A driven and proactive attitude with a strong desire to succeed in sales.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting.
• Familiarity with CRM software is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential new clients and business opportunities through various channels.
• Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce company products/services.
• Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure alignment with sales targets.
• Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with campaign strategies.
