Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Inventory Specialist for a leading retailer with Kimberley operations. You will conduct cycle counts, analyze inventory data, and implement stock control procedures to prevent discrepancies.

The role blends on-site audits with off-site data planning to optimize stock across locations. Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, experience in inventory software, and a proactive approach to reducing losses while improving accuracy and efficiency in retail

Formación

• Proven experience in inventory control within retail.
• Strong understanding of inventory principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in inventory software and MS Excel for data analysis.
• Analytical and precise with excellent time management.
• Able to travel to various store locations in the Northern Cape.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories for retail stores.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and set reorder points.
• Analyze data to identify slow-moving or excess stock and propose actions.
• Enforce policies to minimize shrinkage and waste.
• Assist in receiving inventory and verify against PO.
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure proper stock handling.
• Generate regular inventory reports with key metrics and trends.
• Support implementation of new inventory management technologies.
