Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory control experience in retail.
• Experience with inventory management software and POS systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Based in Port Elizabeth or able to commute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and policies.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving items, and report on stock aging.
• Process stock adjustments, transfers, and returns accurately.
• Collaborate with store management and staff to ensure efficient stock handling.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Assist in managing relationships with suppliers regarding stock deliveries and returns.
