Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security auditing, IT compliance, or risk management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, POPIA, PCI DSS.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, or CGEIT are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute information security audits across business units and systems.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls related to information security.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations and standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, POPIA, PCI DSS).
• Identify control deficiencies, risks, and improvement areas.
• Develop audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
• Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to close audit findings on time.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices in information security auditing.
• Contribute to audit methodologies and tools development.
• Participate in risk assessments and control self-assessments.
• Provide guidance on security and compliance matters to business units.
