Placements24 seeks a meticulous Hygiene Systems Auditor to join our client’s team in Klerksdorp, North West. The role blends on-site audits with remote data analysis to verify hygiene and sanitation protocols across client sites.

The successful candidate will review compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000 and other standards, conduct root-cause analyses, and prepare detailed action-oriented audit reports for clients. Travel to sites around Klerksd is expected in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Proven auditing experience in hygiene or sanitation.
• Knowledge of HACCP and ISO 22000.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
• Experience with auditing tools and techniques.
• Able to manage multiple audit projects independently.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites around Klerksdorp.
• Degree in Food Science / Public Health / Environmental Health preferred.
• Certifications such as Certified Food Scientist or Auditor are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits of hygiene and sanitation systems at client locations.
• Evaluate compliance with hygiene standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify potential risks and areas for improvement in sanitation procedures.
• Develop detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement corrective measures.
• Provide expert advice and training on hygiene management systems.
• Stay abreast of evolving hygiene regulations and industry trends.
• Perform root cause analysis for any hygiene failures identified.
• Maintain accurate and organized audit records.
