Placements24 is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Nelspruit, offering a hybrid work setting. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to enable data-driven insights.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts, ensure data quality, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using cloud-based data warehousing and big data technologies. A strong foundation in SQL and experience with Spark, Hadoop or Kafka is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proficient in SQL and database technologies like PostgreSQL/MySQL/Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and pipelines.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor data quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
