Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate to support ongoing trials in Rustenburg, North West. The CRA will monitor sites, verify data integrity, ensure patient safety, and maintain regulatory compliance across SA sites.

The role combines field monitoring with home-based administrative tasks in a hybrid work model, offering opportunities for professional development within a growing pharmaceutical research organization in the Rustenburg region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science, nursing, pharmacy, or related healthcare discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements for South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and train investigators and study site staff.
• Conduct site visits (initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out) to assess study progress and ensure compliance.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of clinical data recorded on CRFs and source documents.
• Ensure adherence to the study protocol, GCP guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage study supplies and Investigational Product (IP) at the trial sites.
• Communicate effectively with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams regarding study conduct.
• Resolve data queries and ensure timely query resolution.
• Prepare and submit essential regulatory documents to relevant authorities and ethics committees.
• Monitor site budgets and assist with site payments.
