Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science, nursing, pharmacy, or related healthcare discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements for South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Identify, select, and train investigators and study site staff.
• Conduct site visits (initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out) to assess study progress and ensure compliance.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of clinical data recorded on CRFs and source documents.
• Ensure adherence to the study protocol, GCP guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage study supplies and Investigational Product (IP) at the trial sites.
• Communicate effectively with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams regarding study conduct.
• Resolve data queries and ensure timely query resolution.
• Prepare and submit essential regulatory documents to relevant authorities and ethics committees.
• Monitor site budgets and assist with site payments.
