The ideal candidate has at least five years in corporate law, strong advisory skills, and experience with secretarial duties and statutory compliance in South Africa.

Formación

• Qualified legal practitioner with at least 5 years of experience in corporate law.
• Experience in corporate governance, compliance, and contract law.
• Experience with corporate secretarial duties and statutory compliance in South Africa.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and standard office software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for a hybrid environment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, resolutions, and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Review and advise on contracts, agreements, and other legal documents pertinent to corporate operations.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely advice on corporate legal issues affecting the business.
• Maintain accurate corporate records and statutory registers.
