Job summary

Placements24 seeks a meticulous Legal Officer specializing in Contracts Administration to join our client in Mahikeng, North West. This hybrid role centers on end-to-end contract lifecycle management, ensuring accurate execution, storage, and renewal monitoring.

The ideal candidate will review terms, maintain a robust contract database, and ensure cross-department compliance. A relevant Law or Business Administration qualification and 3+ years of contract administration experience are required.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract administration or legal support.
• Proficiency in contract management software and standard office applications.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles and terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a hybrid Mahikeng setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contract administration process, from drafting and review to execution and archiving.
• Maintain a centralized and organized contract management system, ensuring all agreements are accurately logged and accessible.
• Review contracts for legal compliance, risks, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Track contract key dates, such as renewal deadlines and expiration dates, providing timely alerts.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties to clarify contract terms and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in developing and implementing standardized contract templates and playbooks.
