Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, at least five years' experience, proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Timberline/P6), and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Engineering, QS or related field.
• 5+ years experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Proficiency in estimating software: PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Timberline/P6.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specs to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers for competitiveness and accuracy.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and overheads.
• Use estimating software to quantify project requirements and costs.
• Prepare tender submissions and participate in bid meetings.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Liaise with PMs, engineers, and clients to clarify scope.
