Job summary

Syspro is seeking an SRE Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable cloud platform infrastructure. You will apply SRE practices, automate workflows, and partner with development teams to embed reliability into the software delivery lifecycle.

You will manage Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, IaC tooling, and observability stacks, using AI-assisted monitoring to reduce MTTR and prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent level qualification.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or cloud certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable platform infrastructure using SRE principles including SLOs, error budgets, and reliability targets.
• Automate operational workflows via IaC tooling and CI/CD configuration to speed deployments.
• Monitor platform health with observability tools and drive root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based environments ensuring security and availability.
• Apply AI-assisted monitoring and anomaly detection to reduce MTTR and surface predictive insights.
• Collaborate with development teams and architects to embed reliability in system design.
• Participate in on-call rotations and post-incident reviews.
