Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in municipal infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is mandatory.
• Familiarity with South African municipal standards and SANS codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, and sections for municipal services using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Assist senior engineers in the design of water distribution networks, sewer systems, and stormwater drainage.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Perform basic engineering calculations under the supervision of a registered engineer.
• Ensure designs comply with municipal standards, by-laws, and SANS codes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders to resolve design issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits for data collection and verification under hybrid work model.
• Assist in preparing project reports and specifications.
