Placements24 is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee day-to-day catering operations in the Centurion area. The role combines hands-on leadership with hybrid coordination, balancing on-site supervision and remote planning to deliver exceptional events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a catering supervisory or similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of food preparation, service standards and event management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with on-site supervision and remote coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train catering staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and protocols.
• Manage on-site event execution, including setup, service, and breakdown.
• Oversee inventory management and control for food, beverages, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and ensure accurate event execution.
• Handle client feedback and resolve issues during events.
