Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Blockchain Solutions Engineer in Soweto to implement and support blockchain-based solutions for enterprise clients. This hybrid role involves integrating blockchain tech into existing business processes and working with client teams to ensure seamless operation.

You will gain hands-on experience with Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, and other platforms, while developing documentation and training clients on adoption and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, or technical consulting with exposure to blockchain technology.
• Familiarity with at least one major blockchain platform (Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, or Corda).
• Understanding of distributed ledger technology, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract concepts.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Go, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure blockchain solutions based on client requirements, utilizing platforms like Hyperledger Fabric or Ethereum.
• Integrate blockchain networks with existing enterprise systems, databases, and applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed blockchain solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including deployment guides, user manuals, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to understand client needs and propose effective blockchain solutions.
• Conduct user training sessions and assist clients in adopting and utilizing blockchain technologies effectively.
