Job summary

Centrax Digital in Sandton is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design end-to-end, defensible solutions spanning Zoho One, custom development, AI, cloud and security. You will own architectural integrity from pre-sales through delivery and post-go-live review.

You will mentor consultants, maintain reference architectures and drive POPIA-aware data flows, while engaging with senior client stakeholders to shape technical direction across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software delivery with 3+ years in design/architecture.
• Experience designing multi-platform solutions (SaaS, custom code, integrations).

Responsibilities

• Produce solution architecture documents covering business, application, integration and data architecture, plus security baseline.
• Lead pre-sales by sizing effort, identifying risks, and reviewing proposals.
• Make architectural decisions and document them in registers per engagement.
• Review consultants’ work against architecture and course-correct deviations.
• Design POPIA-aware data flows, residency, retention and access controls.
• Design integrations between Zoho One and third-party systems (ERP, accounting, banking, payment, identity).
• Provide architectural input on AI solution design with the AI Practice.
• Maintain reference architectures, integration patterns and security baselines.
• Mentor senior consultants on architectural thinking and decision documentation.
