Placements24 in Durban is seeking a qualified HVAC Technician to join our client’s team, focusing on installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across KwaZulu-Natal.

You will diagnose complex HVAC issues, perform essential repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity for residential and commercial clients. A proactive, safety-conscious approach is required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
Certification in HVAC repair and installation is essential.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and building codes.
Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively across Durban.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and HVAC equipment.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and control systems.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of HVAC equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to HVAC operation.
