Job summary

Competent Candidates in Pretoria/Centurion is looking for an experienced Airconditioning Installer to install, commission and troubleshoot small unitary air-conditioning systems under 18Kw. The role requires at least 5 years in the field and a mandatory refrigerant gas handling certificate.

You will work in a hands-on environment with emphasis on safety and reliability. Familiarity with a range of unitary types and basic electrical knowledge up to 20 volts is essential, along with a clean, sober

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of installation and commissioning of small unitary air-conditioning systems.
• Certificate for refrigerant gas handling (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of refrigeration basics including pressures, temperatures and leak detection.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission small unitary systems (<18Kw).
• Perform brazing, wiring controls, and troubleshooting.
• Apply basic electrical knowledge (up to 20 volts).
• Ensure compliance with refrigerant handling and safety standards.
