Job summary

Competent Candidates is seeking an experienced Airconditioning Installer for the Pretoria/Centurion region. You will install and commission small unitary air-conditioning systems, such as midwall, cassette, under-ceiling and ducted units, typically under 18kW.

Prior installation and commissioning expertise is essential. Applicants should hold a Certificate for refrigerant gas handling and possess a sound electrical background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in installations and commissioning of small type unitary air-conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission small type unitary air-conditioning systems (midwall, cassettes, under-ceiling, ducted, <18kW).
• Perform installations and commissioning with attention to safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues and apply basic electrical knowledge as needed.
