Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a hands-on Handyman to perform timeous and quality maintenance on specified equipment, including HVAC tasks, in our facility network. You will follow job cards, service schedules and safety regulations to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires matric, N3 technical, a valid SA driver’s license and hands-on maintenance experience. You will work with artisans, report faults promptly and support the site with reliable, safe repair work.

Qualifications

• Matric (Senior Certificate).
• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Valid SA Driver's Licence.
• 3 yrs relevant Handyman (HVAC) maintenance experience.
• Safe handling of refrigerants license.
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of OHS Act & ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment per scheduled maintenance, preventive or emergency fault rectification.
• Investigate, evaluate and restore faults including hazards per SLA.
• Provide feedback to clients on restoration of operations.
• Complete field requests timeously; report irregularities to maintenance control Centre.
• Assist artisans when required.
• Undertake other related assignments as assigned.
