Job summary

NTCSA is seeking an Engineering Assistant HV Plant Management to provide first-line maintenance support for high voltage plant at Helios Substation, Loeriesfontein. The role emphasizes safe, organized operations and adherence to OH&S standards.

You will perform inspections, execute maintenance, document changes and mentor junior staff. A Trade Certificate Electrical (LC/HC) and at least two years of electrical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate electrical (Light/Heavy Current) at NQF4 with 120 credits.
• 2 years electrical experience.
• Certificate to execute maintenance on HV plant per certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide an operating service to HV plant.
• Execute maintenance.
• Perform inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies.
• Provide mentoring and coaching.
• Provide documentation and configuration management.
• Monitor non-outage related activities and conditions.
