Job summary

NTCSA in South Africa invites applications for the Engineering Assistant HV Plant Management position based at Lichtenburg Watershed Substation. The role delivers first line maintenance for HV plant and related equipment, ensuring safe, organized, and planned operations within the Grid.

You will operate HV equipment, perform inspections, safety duties, mentoring, documentation and configuration management, and support non-outage activities and condition monitoring.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate Electrical at NQF 4 with 120 Credits.
• Minimum 2 years electrical experience.
• Certificate to execute maintenance according to HV Plant Certification requirements.
• Knowledge of HV plant procedures and safety.
