Job summary

Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS), a division of Takealot Online (RF) (Pty) Ltd, is seeking a Hub Manager in the Northern Cape to oversee dispatch, receipt and parcel management, ensuring timeliness and cost effectiveness.

The role reports to the Primary Logistics: General Manager. You will train staff, implement health and safety standards, and drive performance analytics, reporting to senior management. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in logistics Management.
• Matric and 8-10 years of related work experience.
• Experience in warehousing & logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, distribute or deliver and store parcels in designated locations.
• Ensure efficient warehousing with timely product movement.
• Extract data and generate reports for performance tracking.
• Oversee order filling, transport, delivery/receiving and documentation.
• Train and supervise staff to carry out duties under their control.
• Implement health and safety standards.
• Promote orderliness and company standards in the work area.
• Identify value-creation opportunities in movement and distribution of products.
• Work with senior management and HR to resolve issues and ensure quality service.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs or replacements for machinery.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for the dispatch, receipt and management ofparcels within Takealot.Its primary objectives therefore center on timeliness, efficiencyand cost effectiveness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identified, distributed or delivered, and properly stored indesignated locations.
• Ensures efficient warehousing with timely movement of product.
• Extracts data and generates reports that assist inperformance tracking and decision making.
• Oversee proper execution and accurate documentation of order filling, transporting anddelivery/receiving.
• Trains and supervises employees to carry out the functions under their control.
• Implement health and safety standards.
• Must continually work to promote the orderliness and cleanliness of their work area and other company standards
• Identifies value-creation opportunities for the company in the movement and distribution ofthe product.
• Works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve issues and ensurequality service to our customers.

Qualification & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in logistics Management
